Ingredients:
For The Roti John
1.100 grams minced beef
2.1 large onion,chopped
3.eggs
4.salt and pepper to taste
5.1 loaf crusty french bread,halved,horizontally,then cut to fit into frying pan.
For the sauce
1.3 tbsp of chilli sauce
2.1 tbsp of ketchup
3.1 tbsp of sugar
4.3 tbsp of water
Preparing the sauce:
1.Mix all the ingredients together.
The mix should be a bit runny rather than thick
Method:
1.Mix minced beef,chopped onion,eggs,salt and pepper together.
2.Heat up frying pan with about a tbsp of cooking oil.
3.Scoop beef mix onto a piece of bread.
4.Quickly press bread,beef-side into hot oil.hear pan sizzle,smell the aroma of oil meeting egg and onions.Use a spatula and give bread a good press down and then flip it over to make crust crispy.
5.Remove from pan and slice bread smaller if needed.
