Ingredients:
1 cup long grain rice
1 ¾ cups cold water or stock
¼ teaspoon oil
Salt to taste
Method:
Place rice in a lidded casserole dish (or glass bowl with a plate on top), add liquid and oil. Cover and cook on high for 13 minutes. Let stand (without lifting the lid) for 10 minutes. Add salt and fork through.
For brown rice, follow directions but add 2 ½ cups of liquid and cook for 30 minutes.
