Ingredients:
125g butter
1 cup Castor sugar
2 eggs
1 1 / 2 cups SR Flour
1 / 2 cup milk
1 / 4 cup chopped nuts
Rind and juice of large lemon
Extra 1 / 4 cup sugar
Making:
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs.
Add nuts and lemon rind.
Sift flour and add alternately with milk.
Put in loaf tin and bake for 45 mins.
Mix juice with extra sugar.
When cake is cooked, pour over lemon juice and extra sugar.
