Irish Coffee recipe




· 1 jigger or shot of Irish whiskey
· 6 ounces of hot coffee
· 1 teaspoon of white or brown sugar (drinker's choice!)
· heavy cream

Directions
In a glass mug (also known as an Irish coffee cup), mix the hot coffee, whiskey, and sugar together until the sugar dissolves. Top the drink with slightly aged heavy cream. How you prepare the cream is, again, your choice. Traditionally, the cream is left plain and not whipped, poured gently over the back of a spoon to help it float. However, many modern Irish coffees are topped with whipped cream, which is often sweetened. Try the different methods to learn what works best for your palate.
